What does a typical day look like for you?

As the Managing Director, each day presents a fresh array of challenges and opportunities. My role involves strategic decision-making, leadership, and engaging with external stakeholders. I am dedicated to steering our company towards success while fostering a dynamic and results-oriented environment. This includes supporting my team to ensure seamless operations, resolving issues as they arise, accompanying our GM on visits to key accounts, meeting with media partners alongside our Marketing Manager, and organizing fundraising initiatives such as Eat Drink Pink. Alongside these responsibilities, I also enjoy adding some fun to the mix – whether it's creating Instagram Reels & TikToks or simply sharing a laugh with my team. Representing RevitaLash Cosmetics in NZ is a responsibility I deeply value, and I take great pleasure in the diverse roles and tasks it entails. Amidst the hustle and bustle, you'll often find me savoring a generous cup of coffee or two!

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I'm a firm advocate for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I cherish the moments spent switching off and enjoying quality time with my partner and our three wonderful kids. One of my favorite ways to unwind is by immersing myself in nature through bushwalks, or by the sea – there's something truly rejuvenating about moving the body amidst the beauty of the outdoors.

Cooking nutritious meals is another passion of mine; nourishing both body and soul through wholesome food.

I also enjoy unwinding by listening to podcasts – they provide endless opportunities for learning and personal growth. Lastly, indulging in the simple pleasures of life, like catching up with friends, sipping an espresso martini or two and dancing the day or night away.

Do you have kids or fur-babies?

I have a three year old daughter Kaia and twin boys, Marko and Kingston.

Plus my first baby and regular visitor in the Kiara Cosmetics office - Calvin, a Short Haired Griffon, and his sister, Sonar, a GSP.

What does a typical day look like for you?

In my position, I have a multifaceted role that brings something new each day. Whether it's guiding and leading our team of experts in operations, marketing, and sales or extending support to our valued stockists through education and sales initiatives, each day brings something fresh. I consider myself fortunate to be engaged in a role that keeps my passion for the beauty industry alive, involving various facets of the business. My goal is to make a positive impact on everyone I have the privilege of interacting with.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I find joy in exploring my beach neighbourhood through local beach and bush walks, enjoying the beauty of my neighborhood. Additionally, I have a passion for interior design, finding new pieces to enhance the ambience of my home, and I love gardening as a way to breathe life into my living space.

Do you have kids or fur-babies?

My beloved furry companion is Luna, a 3-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I am responsible for picking, packing and efficient dispatching of orders to meet the demands of both wholesale and retail clients. My role encompasses the comprehensive management of warehouse operations and stock inventories. Additionally, I take charge of coordinating and tracking the progress of international shipments as they arrive from abroad.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy a varied fitness regimen that includes high-intensity bootcamps, strength training with weights, and a mix of walking and running. Alongside my commitment to personal health, I take great joy in supporting my children by actively participating in their busy schedule of extracurricular activities.

Do you have kids or fur-babies?

I have three kids: Addison, who is 17, Kade, 12, and Harper, 8. I also have two dogs: China, a French Bulldog, and Cooper, a Miniature Pinscher. Plus, there's a cat in the mix, Kobe Bryant, who is a Devon Rex. And if that weren't enough, I also have three goats: Maccona, Maverick, and Arlo.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I am the primary point of contact for all order inquiries, whether they arrive via email or phone. My responsibilities include processing orders, addressing any questions from stockists and customers, and managing invoicing. I also provide hands-on assistance in the warehouse, stepping in to help dispatch orders whenever necessary. My role encompasses a wide range of tasks that may arise spontaneously. Overall, my focus is on offering support to both our customers and my team members.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Walking my dogs is one of my greatest pleasures; it's a time for us to bond and enjoy the outdoors, similarly, exploring nature trails on hikes with my partner. I'm also devoted to my yoga and pilates sessions. And when the mood strikes, I love a bit of shopping.

Do you have kids or fur-babies?

I have four fur babies (2 dogs, 2 cats) and one human baby on the way!

What does a typical day look like for you?

I am the newest member of the team, bringing 13 years of marketing experience in beauty, skincare and personal care to this role. With marketing, no day is the same and this role is multifaceted, which I thoroughly enjoy. I can go from social planning, and building a yearly marketing strategy, to organising an industry event or working with everyone in the team on a project. The variety, challenge and knowing that the brand we all represent makes a difference in people's lives is what makes it so fulfilling. 

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I have a passion for fitness and health. I am a qualified Sports Nutritionist and enjoy using my knowledge to help others. I love the gym, especially resistance training and enjoy this 5 days a week. If I am not doing those things you will find me riding horses, reading, listening to podcasts, buying too much activewear and makeup, and spending time with family and friends. 

Do you have kids or fur-babies?

None at this time, but growing up, there has always been a dog in the family. We currently have a Standard Schnauzer called Bailey.
